DAY MARKS

Day Marks is a forum for scripture verses, inspiring quotations, uplifting thoughts, and works in progress. I chose the title "Day Marks" in honor of Dag Hammarskjöld's book "Vägmärken." In English, that is "Way Marks" or "Markings." The name "Dag" means "Day" in Swedish. Then I discovered that "Day Marks" are tall buildings used to guide people during the day, as light-houses are used to guide sailors in the dark.
